The library is now open to the public at full fire code capacity. Masking is no longer mandatory. Please respect social distancing rules in place. Sanitization stations will remain around the library and patrons are encouraged to sanitize upon entering the library. Incoming materials will be quarantined for 24 hours. Seating is open as is computers for public use. The children's area is now open. Washrooms will be open and sanitized after each use.
Take home craft kits are available for children, ask the librarian for more information. These items are all free.
Our library is open, we welcome you back. Curbside pick up is available if needed. Please call 780-829-2389 during library hours to arrange. We are practicing social distancing in our library and a hand sanitizing station is set up and must be used upon entry into our library.
Please note that there is no access to the public washroom and the children's area is closed except for the access to stacks.
The community can rest assured that the Slave Lake Regional Library Board is doing everything we can at our branches to slow the spread of COVID-19. Our libraries will be closed until further notice, and will re-open, possibly with modified services, only when we are sure that it is safe to do so.
